Nick's Crispy Taco's Taco Tuesday

S and I were eager to catch up somewhere cheap and cheerful so decided we'd do Nick's Crispy Tacos for Taco Tuesday.

The Tuesday special at Nick's includes $2 tacos (pollo asado, carne asada, carnitas, or vegetariano), chips with salsa and guac, cheese quesadilla, and $3 Coronas.

Don't get me wrong, I love Nick's, but I do have some rants about Taco Tuesday:
- You have to vulture for a seat. And it takes a long time.
- The scene is pretty douchy. But I guess if my birthday fell on a Tuesday, I'd consider throwing a party there. What else are you going to do on a Tuesday?
- You have to go to the Rouge bar to order your beers, separate from your food order.
- The taco special doesn't include the fish tacos - the undeniably best and only way to order tacos at Nick's. I find all the other meats WAY too salty.
- They don't tell you that they charge extra for cheese and guac (Nick's way.)

On the plus side, Corona Lights are part of the special. And you can't beat a Nick's quesadilla.

The Verdict: Worth It Any Day But Tuesday
